Hi, I’m Bhavini, a Charted Physiotherapist, a certified Pilates instructor and the owner of The Positive Movement Lab. I have over 18 years of experience as a Physio and have specialised in movement rehabilitation from the start of my career. Following an inquisitive journey to learn more in-depth Physio assessment techniques and expanding my knowledge of various treatment approaches, including Acupuncture and Kineso-taping, I eventually decided to take a leap into the world of Pilates. I qualified as a Clinical Pilates instructor in 2017 from the internationally recognised institute, Polestar Pilates. But if I’m honest I‘ve been infatuated by the experience I get doing Pilates ever since my early teens!
I’ve always loved playing sports, but I would say I love movement more and enjoy the feeling it brings. I’m at my happiest when I’m moving my body and learning how it interacts with all other aspects of my life including my mental health, emotional and spiritual health.
Over the years, like most of us, my exercise routine has been a bit hit and miss, but boy have a noticed how different I feel and how my body feels if I’m not in some sort of routine. What I’ve noticed about myself is I like to incorporate exercise into my daily habits, such as cycling to work; it fulfils two purposes and its cleaner for the environment (which is another one of my passions).
So here is my vision statement I make to you:
I am here to provide you my professional guidance through injury and pain, to cohesively support your recovery period and the aim of overall better health. I will continue to learn and grow as a therapist to provide the best available evidence-based care, in order to help educate and empower you as an individual, who is invested in their own well-being through commitment and self-care.

I’m Pallas, a graduate of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, majored in Dance Directing, minor in Dance Education.
I qualified as a Polestar Pilates Studio instructor and GYROTONIC instructor soon after my graduation and started my teaching in 2001 in Hong Kong.
I had my first Pilates class in 1997 while studying at the Academy. It was a new experience of movement for me apart from dancing since kindergarten -- using Pilates machines to train my body, how cool was that!!!
Until today, I am still enjoying doing it a lot and always be fascinated by how it helps me and my clients to understand and know our own body more and more each day! And with the training on movement analysis in dance, I will continue to not only to guide each of you to do the exercises, but to feel the movement and enjoy the wonderful feeling it brings, so to help educate and build up each individual’s sense of movement.
Be free to move and use the body in the way you want.
